Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death.
Believe
Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He offers salvation from sins and eternal life in heaven. Although we have done nothing to deserve His love and salvation, God wants to save us and have a relationship with us.
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
John 14:6 – Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Confess
Confess your sin and have faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
I John 1:9 -- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us all unrighteousness.
Romans 10:9-10 – That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved
Please Pray
You might say something like the following:
“God, I know that I am a sinner and I ask for forgiveness. I believe that you sent Your Son Jesus Christ to die for my sin so that I could receive that forgiveness and have eternal life with You. I want to turn away from my old sinful life and turn to my new life with you as my Savior and Lord. I pray this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
